Dangerous Driving may be an athletics game and thought of by the developers as a religious sequel to the Burnout series. Players, once choosing an automotive and track, commit to beat the opposite races (computer-controlled, or alternative online players). Dangerous Driving includes an equivalent crash parts from Burnout; players will ram opponents into the perimeters of the track or oncoming harm to cause them to crash (known as Takedowns), briefly stopping them from athletics before their automotive respawn and that they will continue on.
